About Cloves
Cloves (Syzygium aromaticum) are an intensely aromatic, warm spice originating from the Moluccas Islands in Indonesia. They were one of the most coveted spices during the Portuguese Discoveries era. Their distinctive flavour is used in sweets, meat dishes and hot beverages. At A Pharmácia da Avó, cloves are present in our Orchard Infusion, combined with apple and cinnamon.
