About Black Tea
Black tea is obtained by fully oxidizing Camellia sinensis leaves, resulting in a full-bodied, robust flavour. It is the base of English Breakfast, Earl Grey and many classic blends. In Portugal, black tea arrived through trade routes with the Orient. At A Pharmácia da Avó, black tea is the base of our House Earl Grey, combined with bergamot and lavender petals.
