About Cinnamon
Cinnamon (Cinnamomum) is the most emblematic spice in Portuguese pastry, a heritage of the Discoveries trade routes. It is present in rice pudding (drawn on top), leite-creme, queijadas, orange cake and hundreds of traditional recipes. At A Pharmácia da Avó, we use Ceylon cinnamon — the finest and most aromatic — in our Cinnamon Cappuccino, pastries and Grandma's Rice Pudding.
