About Lace
Lace is an ornamental fabric made by interlacing threads, creating delicate and intricate patterns. In Portugal, the bobbin lace of Vila do Conde and Peniche is particularly famous. In the past, lace tablecloths adorned every dining table and dresser in Portuguese homes. At A Pharmácia da Avó, lace is part of our décor — lace tablecloths over wooden furniture, just like in grandmothers' homes of the 70s and 80s.
