About Ovos Moles
Ovos moles from Aveiro are one of Portugal's most unique sweets, with Protected Geographical Indication. Created at the Convent of Jesus in Aveiro, they are made with egg yolks and sugar, wrapped in thin wafer moulded into shells, fish and barrels. They are a symbol of the city of Aveiro and the richness of Portuguese convent pastry.
