About Lavender
Lavender (Lavandula) is an aromatic plant with purple flowers, cultivated in Portugal for centuries for both medicinal and ornamental purposes. Its essential oil is used in aromatherapy to promote relaxation, and dried flowers perfume wardrobes and drawers in traditional homes. At A Pharmácia da Avó, we add lavender petals to our House Earl Grey, creating an infusion combining British tradition with Portuguese Mediterranean aromatics.
