About Lemon Balm
Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) is a mint-family plant widely grown in Portuguese gardens. Its fresh, lemony aroma makes it perfect for infusions that calm the mind and aid digestion. In folk tradition, it was considered a remedy for everything — from nervousness to headaches. In our cafeteria, it is an essential ingredient in Grandma's Tea and our Digestive Tisane.
