Cozido à Portuguesa is considered one of Portugal's national dishes. It is an abundant stew bringing together various meats (beef, pork, chicken), sausages (chorizo, blood sausage, farinheira), vegetables (cabbage, carrot, turnip, potato) and rice, all slowly cooked in the same broth.
