About Ceramics
Ceramics is one of Portugal's richest artisan traditions. From Barcelos pottery to hand-painted tiles, from Caldas da Rainha faience to Vista Alegre porcelain, clay and ceramic work is deeply rooted in Portuguese identity. At A Pharmácia da Avó, ceramics are present in the tableware we serve in — each piece is selected for telling a story, and our shop features pieces from local ceramists.
