About Olive Oil
Olive oil is the most fundamental ingredient in Portuguese cuisine — present in virtually every dish, from soup to fish, salad to dessert. Portugal is one of the world's largest olive oil producers, with demarcated regions like Trás-os-Montes, Alentejo and Beira Interior.
